Currently seeking a supervisory position within the construction industry.

My construction experience of over 27 years includes an excess of 20 years

as foreman/site supervisor/manager on various domestic and international

projects. Project type experience includes commercial, multiple housing

and single-family residence construction and renovations. Partial list of

commercial project types include wind farms, banks, bottling factory, multi-

story office buildings, Rockingham Speedway-NASCAR Racetrack Stadium, hotel

renovation, historic renovations, contaminated site remediation, pipelines,

foot bridges, aqueducts and canal construction.

Construction of 162-unit HUD funded assisted and senior living

complex with full 24-hr nurse care and services.

Project consisting of a 244,000 sq. ft. 4 story building with

underground parking structure and full commercial kitchen and

restaurant.

Esperanza Court Housing, Portland OR $12 million

The project comprised the construction of a 70 unit multi-family

apartment complex for the Catholic Charities Foundation of Portland.

The project consisted of the remediation of contaminated land Methane

gas removal system and installation of Geopier foundation system.

Spirit Mountain Casino, Grand Ronde OR $4.5 million

The project comprised the construction of a children's play centre for

the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde.

Main elements of construction consisted of seismic CMU with structural

steel and pre-engineered truss elements.

The renovation and expansion of a existing building to LEED Gold Award

with seismic upgrades, new masonry facades and structural steel

components.

This project consisted of the construction of a new Multi-family

This project consisted of the construction of a new Multi-family

housing project.

Villa de Clara Vista, Portland $6 million

The project comprised of asbestos abatement, renovation and demolition

of a multi-family apartment complex.

Holebeck Foundry Refurbishment $18 million

The project comprised of the demolition, refurbishment of a British

Heritage Listed 17th century foundry to residential and retail units.

( On site responsibility for the management, coordination of all

construction activities and subcontract labour.

( Other duties included quality control, site programming and planning

activities.

Belize City Drainage Works / Hurricane Preparedness Project, Belize

$11 million

The construction of new city canal drainage system comprising of new

pedestrian foot bridges, road culvert construction and sidewalk

drainage. Incorporating reinforced concrete, blockwork and pre-cast

concrete elements of construction.

Jan. 2000 - 2001 MORRISONS CONSTRUCTION PLC UK.

Works Manager / Site Manager

( On site responsibility for the management, coordination of all

construction activities and subcontract labour.

( Other duties included quality control, site programming and planning

activities.

Rockingham Motor Speedway $45 million

Project construction included driving of 800 steel and concrete piles

(mixed) with concrete pile caps and link beams. All infrastructure

works, race car track construction and a 5-story steel grandstand

construction with structural glazing.

British Waterways $35 million

This project consisted of the renovation refurbishment of the British

Waterways Canal system consisting of the dredging, relining,

construction of aqueducts and bridges to the existing canal system.

1998 - 2000 SKANSKA JENSEN INTERNATIONAL A/S Uganda.

Works Manager

( Responsible for coordination of all construction trades (structural

through finishing).

( Duties included quality control and supervision of all on-site

operations.

Rewinsori Court Multi-storey Office / Retail Development, Kampala

$16 million

The project consisted of the construction of a multi storey reinforced

concrete frame and slab construction building with structural curtain

wall glazing and commercial grade finishes.

Coca-Cola Bottling Factory - Mbarara $14 million

The project comprised the design and construction of a 30,000 bottles

per hour soft drinks manufacturing facility for SAB. Project specifics

included the installation of a15, 000-m reinforced concrete hard

standing with all associated infrastructure including RC water storage

tanks, RC water treatment works/ purification plant.

1995 - 1998 MORRISON CONSTRUCTION LTD. U.K.

General Foreman

( My employment consisted of working for both the Civil & Building

divisions of the company on various

construction projects.

( The role of GF was to have the overall responsibility for

implementation of all trade and site administration.

( Other aspects of the position were to ensure completion of works to

schedule and budget.

million

The project consisted of the decommissioning, demolition of multiple

buildings in a medical research campus.

British Gas, Plymouth $12 million

Contaminated Land Reclamation; 60,000 m removed and replaced

Additional related project 900mm Gas main diversion in Plymouth

Kirkstall Brewery, Leeds University $38 million

The project comprised the construction of new buildings and the

refurbishment of 16th century British Heritage Listed monastery /

brewery into 1087 student accommodations.

labour forces on a variety of construction projects.

Directing and educating local labour in the methods of acceptable
