including compilation, review and analysis of underwriting data needed for various insurance

programs. Executive level contract negotiation, contract review, events review, integration

and support for mergers and acquisitions. Review, analyze and negotiate insurance

contractor agreements for compliance with insurance requirements. Acted as resource for

business units, legal department and external sources in respects to insurance or claims as

well as developing close personal and working relationships with personnel in operating

companies and corporate areas to stay abreast of changes in any aspect of the company that

may impact risk management. Management of security/collateral requirements for surety

bonds, self insurance and fronted insurance programs. Evaluate most favorable risk

financing of company’s risks including financial analysis of traditional insurance, various

levels of deductibles, self-insurance and alternative risk financing strategies as well as

utilization of a captive insurance company and reinsurance agreements. Oversee claims

management operations to ensure efficient, timely and economic resolution of all general

liability, workers compensation and first party property claims of subsidiaries, affiliates and

controlled entities. Provide direction to third party administrators, claims litigation consultants

and defense counsels, including settlement authority on all claims.

Staff & Operations Management: Performed duties normally associated with supervisory
