OBJECTIVE
To contribute to an organization the expertise I have to offer from my
broad experience in both the hospital pharmacy sector and pharmaceutical
industry practice settings.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Developed a Critical Care Satellite Pharmacy servicing the ICU, CCU, OR and
Recovery Room at Ellis Hospital.
Managed a 6-7 student per rotation, Preceptor Program with Ellis Hospital
and Albany College of Pharmacy and coordinated academic/experiential
training with Clinical Coordinator assigned by ACP.
Implemented and managed off-site drug distribution for a rural remote
affiliated hospital.
Implemented pilot Pharmacy computerization project on the hospital SMS
system.
Created the Bristol-Myers Squibb postdoctoral PharmD Residency Program
that began as a 6-resident program and grew to 12 residents per year
covering Drug Information and Professional Services.
Coordinated BMS with NASA's Medical Department for use of fludrocortisone
in the prevention of post-flight orthostatic hypotension experienced in
astronauts on long shuttle missions.
Led multidisciplinary teams through the process of commercializing BMS
products or adding new labeling indications and/ or updating product
safety information to marketed drugs.
Developed an Orientation/ Desk Reference for Promotion Compliance Managers
in order to assure consistent application of department standards relative
to promotion materials.
Prepared monthly metric reports for quality and efficiency in the routing
and approval of US promotional materials. The reports provided analysis of
data to warrant shifting of workload as needed based upon changes in
marketing priorities.

. Created a MS Excel Spreadsheet to keyword staff meeting minutes to
quickly refer to prior meeting discussions and consensus on reemerging
issues. The result was consistent response to periodic questions on
work practices.
