Replacement Cost evaluations for single family and muliti-family dwellings.
- Manage, process, and responsible for a high volume of home inspections.
Companies include AAA, American Family, CNA, Encompass, Farmers, General
Casualty, Horace Mann, Kemper, National Grange, State Farm, Travelers and
Westfield.
- Inspections that are processed are book renewals, New Business,
Middle and High Value Homes.
- Training of new employees to inspect for quality review.
- Responsible for thoroughly investigating the inspection by checking
ground floor area, construction type, stories, external and liability
concerns.
- Generate referrals if any concerns are noted. (Vacant, business on
property, bodies of water, wood stoves, missing steps, dogs) etc.
- In charge of correcting and processing the inspections on the
computer and releasing into the Internet, which in turn is released to the
appropriate company.
- Oversee all inspections going to the insurance company pass the
requirements.
- Oversee incomplete inspections and send them back to the vendors for
issuing information.
- Run replacement costs on the Boechk program for high value homes
ranging from $1,000,000 plus.
- Deal with inspectors on a daily basis to assure. Accuracy of the
inspection.
- Work independently on a timely basis.
Operations Manager: (1996-1998)
St. Paul Federal Bank for Savings/ Charter One Bank
- Managed the administrative and data processing functions of the
insurance agency, a full line service agency providing complete lines of
property/casualty, life, health, and commercial line insurance.
- Directed activities of agency office services, processed insurance
policies, endorsements, billing, payments, escrow disbursements,
cancellations, homeowners claims, disability claims, supplies, inventory,
file room.
- Training new CSR's to the department including procedures with
insurance companies underwriting.
- Resolved problem situations beyond the authority of the CSR's.
Preformed job functions of CSR's when they were on vacation, sick, or job
openings.
- Monitored daily operations of the agencies back office staff ensuring
efficient and timely processing of applications, billing, mailings etc.
Included daily meetings with staff to review areas.
- Assessed performances and reviews, researched and analyzed reports
for management.
- Developed policies and procedures for the agency's back office
functions.
- Accountable for the servicing and retention of the agency's existing
book of business.
- Daily contact with agency staff, sales department, accounting,
escrow, and lending department. Also, daily contact with insurance
company's underwriters, claims adjusters, personnel and accounting staff.
