EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
Present: Freelance Website Design/Caregiver
. Currently building a Website for a friend's pool company using HTML
and CSS which includes seven hyperlinked pages. The pages include
information about the company, its Mission Statement, services,
products, affiliations, contact information, and pictures of their
work.
Each page was given hyperlinks to all other pages. Logos of the
affiliated companies were used for the links to their home page using
absolute paths.
Mar 1993 - Feb 1996: Maritime U.S.A. Technician
. Rebuilding, refurbishing, and test of Savin/Ricoh copy machines.
This work consisted of disassembling the used copiers, sending the
frame out for repainting, and reassembling the machine with new
parts.
. The testing was done with electronic and mechanical equipment
designed for these specific copiers.
. Completion dates were pre-established and enforced. Perfection
was expected. Schematics were available if necessary.
Feb 1989 - Jan 1993: Coastal Office Products Field Service
Representative
. Provided customer service and on site repair of copy machines.
Some of our clients were Kaiser Hospital, Navy bases and H&R Block.
. Strong customer relationships were required for open communication
between me and the clients to establish a clear understanding of the
problems they were encountering.
. Immediate resolution of the problems was often requested by the
clients.
Supervision from my manager was minimal, service calls were done
alone.
. Inventory, status reports, and expense reports were required for each
call at the end of the week. Organization of my inventory was
critical as I only went to the home office for restocking once a week
unless parts were required immediately.
. I received training and certification for both Savin and Ricoh
copiers.
