Produced and manufactured a myriad of components dedicated to the creation

of highly complicated aerospace components. Gained a sound knowledge of

practical application of engineering science and technology as well as

utilize my knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality

control, cost effectiveness, and other techniques for maximizing the

manufacture and distribution of goods. My ability to imagine how something

will look after its parts are moved as well as my excellent hand-eye

coordination made me an asset to this company. Setup and operate mill and

lathe conventional machines, and read blueprints and diagrams.

Machinist:

Repaired all manner of machinery used in the manufacture of chemicals. This

position included using milling machines to form flat surfaces, trenches,

hollows, surfaces with edges, mold shafts and screw threads. Gained

extensive knowledge of dies and how to utilize them to impart a desired

shape, form or finish to screw threads and to cut out various shapes in

metal and other materials. Daily duties included the ability to verify work

pieces micrometers, depth gauges, and other precision measuring equipment

which was highlighted by my in-depth knowledge of design, production of

precision technical plans, and mathematical capability. Other duties

included welding, polishing, grinding, and tool sharpening; using lathes

for turning operations to cut down various types of stock, and cutting

threads on stock to produce screws and bolts.

SPECIAL TRAINING AND EDUCATION

Studied machinist technical courses at a local accredited trade school

while living in Poland. This course of study included a wide variety of

disciplines. Included studies were subjects such as occupational drafting,

knowledge of machines, electricity fundamentals, business administration,

and more.

OTHER SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

I arrived in the United States in 1989. From that time until 1997 I focused

my attention on completing my immigration process. This activity prevented

me from working in my field of training, but I held positions in

construction, food service, lawn care (where I ran my own company for 2

years) and a short period as a tile setter for new home construction

contractors. Since completing my immigration process I have been fortunate

to have the opportunity to work in my field of interest and would enjoy the

chance to continue to grow and learn in that field. I am fluent in Polish

and English and I am able to converse easily in either language.
