ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE:

06/08 - 05/09

Lowe Toyota of Warner Robins, a middle Georgia Toyota/Scion car dealership

with annual sales of approximately 3,000 units. Controller with

responsibility for all accounting, credit, cash management and human

resource functions. Prepared monthly Toyota Financial Statement in timely

manner, ensured all internal controls adhered to, analyzed financial

documents for irregularities and maintained general ledger and schedules.

Performed monthly reconciliations including bank, floor plan, reserve

accounts, factory payables, sales tax, etc. Heavy exposure to Reynolds and

Reynolds dealership software. Supervised staff of sixteen associates

including receptionists, cashiers, housekeepers, caf and all accounting

personnel.

04/06 - 07/07

LJL Truck Center, a Macon, Georgia Navistar, Mack and Ford heavy duty truck

dealership. Controller with responsibility for all accounting, human

resources and IT functions. Also functioned as both Accounts Payable and

Payroll Manager with thorough knowledge of all related duties. Achieved

better utilization of ADP accounting software that was noticeably lacking

in dealership. Worked closely with outside independent auditors to

facilitate timely completion of annual audit. Handled all reporting

requirements and prepared monthly sales tax returns, bank reconciliations

and manufacturers' financial statements. Established, monitored and

enforced internal controls. Dealership sold and new owners brought in own

management team.

01/05 - 04/06

Beltway International Trucks/Idealease of Baltimore, a Maryland multi-

branched Navistar and Idealease heavy duty truck dealership. Controller

with responsibility for all accounting, credit, human resources and IT

functions. Extensive exposure to large Idealease operation including ADP

Full Maintenance Leasing and Rental software. Trained and cross-trained

weak staff on ADP accounting software and instituted all policies and

procedures that were lacking in dealership. Heavy involvement in

forecasting and cash management. Worked closely with Parts Department to

insure inventory on parts side reconciled to accounting side.

03/02 - 03/04

Atlanta Freightliner, an Atlanta multi-branched heavy duty truck dealership

with annual sales in excess of 4,000 units. Controller with responsibility

for all accounting, credit, human resources and IT functions. Handled all

reporting requirements, including a two-day close with Portland, Oregon

home office in a timely manner. Heavily involved in planning and

forecasting for entire dealership. Supervised staff of fifteen associates.

Functioned as ADP System Administrator.

08/94 - 03/02

Asbury Automotive Atlanta, LLC dba Nalley Motor Trucks, an Atlanta multi-

franchised, multi-branched heavy duty truck dealership with annual sales in

excess of 3,000 units. Controller with responsibility for general ledger

and schedule maintenance, cost control, financial reporting, forecasting,

account analysis and inventory control. Instituted three-day close in 1998

and achieved deadline every month. Implemented extensive cross-training

program resulting in high staff morale coupled with virtually no employee

turnover.
