Gemstone Research Project: Team IMMUNE (Innovative Medicines for Maladies
Utilizing Nutraceutical Enhancements) Researched effective methods for
incorporating antioxidants into the American diet by adding grape seed flour and oil
into bread model. Quantified various antioxidant properties of both the seed and
bread and performed sensory analysis. Published and defended thesis and
presented research posters at American Chemical Society meetings as well as
University Exhibits.
