Audio Visual Technician III
Developed the skill of creating slides using Harvard Graphics and when the company standardized
with Microsoft Office, I converted my files and improved my slide making capabilities by learning
PowerPoint. As PowerPoint usage became more prevalent, scanning requirements greatly increased. I
scanned photos, slides and transparencies and have MAC experience, although I use a PC much more
often.
Created a company slide library – filing new slides and assisting others in their search for specific
slides/images.
As more advanced graphics were requested, I researched potential tools required and eventually settled on
PhotoShop, which proved to be very useful, especially when it came to creating custom slide backgrounds
and video graphics.
Not only did I assist in the creation of PowerPoint files (providing background ideas and templates), but for
those that I did not personally create for shows/meetings – I did a great deal of clean up and editing.
Worked with various company department personnel to ensure their understanding of PowerPoint so they
could create their own files thereby ensuring on-time & under budget completion of files that were turned
over to me prior to meeting setup/rehearsal.
Provided technical support for many meetings each year, assuring that all required equipment was
available and that all PowerPoint files were installed and operating properly. These meetings included;
Annual Shareholders’, Annual Sales Meeting, Quarterly Management Meetings for various departments, bi-
monthly Board of Directors’ Meetings and Executive Management Luncheons.
In addition, I developed/maintained a PC computer network within our office area consisting of 8 computers
(7 workstations and the HUB). This network was used by the Exhibits and Displays group and by the Event
Services Group.
Improved departmental capability for large format printing and laminating by researching, purchasing,
operating and maintaining proper equipment and also used this capability to keep jobs under budget.
Burn monthly CD backups and duplicated CD’s as required.
Provided customer service and set appointments for any clients requiring the services of our department.
Tracked office supplies as well as graphics supply requirements.

I volunteer with Read West in Rio Rancho to provide literacy tutoring.
My husband and I have both actively participated in Clean up Rio Rancho events and I recently
organized a cleanup event for our neighborhood (desert area). Both Clean up Rio Rancho and
SSCAFCA were of immense help and all who volunteered time greatly appreciated their efforts. I
recently submitted an application to become a member of the “Keep Rio Rancho Beautiful” Board.
