Responsible for bi-monthly payroll for approximately 5500 employees. Daily payroll procedures includes but not limited to
submitting NACH file to the bank, paying federal tax deposits via EFTPS, checking/responding to the payroll department
email, phone messages, positive pay/ACH filing with banking institutions, direct employee contact regarding payroll and
benefit inquiries. Collaborates with the Human Resources department to ensure compliancy with the districts policy and
procedures with regards to payroll and benefits. Responsible for updating new and existing employee W-4’s, direct
deposit, garnishments and salary adjustments. Records and tracks extended leave of absences in compliance with district
and FMLA guidelines. Familiarity of internal and external audit request of payroll and payroll related information. Adheres
to and practices district policy and procedures.
