EXPERIENCE:

I have * years of construction inspection and management experience in

major roadway and bridge construction projects with all phases of

inspection including planning, execution and documentation processes. The

bridge construction experience (Railway Bridge, Underpasses and associated

Roads) involved pile load tests, soil boring with percussion and rotary

method, piling and construction of transom beam over piles caps, bridge

deck slabs, approach slabs, retaining walls for the underpass. Drainage

experience includes underpass drainage system including open channels,

culverts and underground drainage pipes, sump and pump system. Roadway work

included topographic survey, excavation, preparation of sub-grade, base,

aggregate sub-base, placing asphalt, highway drainage system including 36

inch storm sewer and utilities installation. In addition, inspected and

assured quality control of rigid concrete pavement and joints layout,

median barrier and street lights installations, sidewalks using concrete

paving blocks, landscaping and slope protection, prepared complete and

accurate daily reports with required sketches and calculations on proper

forms to reflect work accomplished. Other areas of experience include

quality control testing of fresh concrete, asphalt milling and overlay,

guard rail inspection, demolition of curb & gutter, pavement marking,

installation of traffic signs, saw cutting & sealing joints in newly paved

bituminous concrete overlay and cleaning & painting of overhead traffic

sign posts. Inspection of all construction work was in compliance with all

applicable standards and specifications. Relevant project experience

includes:

. Site Supervisor: Dec. 2009 - Present

Tri-boro Inc.-Construction of Sidewalks, Curbs and Parking Yards,Brooklyn,

Queens and Manhattan, New York. Demolition of existing concrete and

placing new concrete for full depth of roadway repair and concrete curbing;

performing concrete slump and air tests, cold milling existing asphalt,

applying tack coat, placing binder and top course; conducting depth and

temperature checks, plotting the layout and cross sections, calculating

quantities from given dimensions, curves, angles and other data,

supervising the installation of barriers, removal and replacement of

concrete curb, cleaning and repairing drainage structures; installation of

traffic signs, saw cutting and sealing joints in newly laid concrete

pavement, cleaning, and painting of overhead traffic sign posts. As a

consultant inspector for City Of New York my responsibilities included:

Daily inspection of construction including earthwork, drainage, aggregate

base and asphalt placement on the project, ensuring contractor is following

all pertinent specifications, daily construction logs and quantities,

responsible for ensuring QA/QC requirements were followed and in

compliance. Prepared daily work report for work completed with pay

quantities, locations, sketches and calculations as needed.

Tri-boro Inc, NY-Rehabilitation work of various residential as well as

commercial buildings in Queens and Manhattan, New York. Supervised

rehabilitation and maintenance work on tall buildings; installation of

pedestrian sheds, pipe scaffolds & hanging scaffolds .Managed and

supervised the activities of facade replacement, water-proofing; lintel

and window replacement, caulking of structural and non-structural joints,

pointing, replacement of parapet, coping stone, coping flashing, lintel

flashing, replaced the top roof, fire-escapes, skylights, drainage pipes .

Prepared shop drawings and progress reports (using MS Word, MS Excel, Power

Point, Auto CAD).Removal of DOB and ECB violations, inspection of

construction work, preparing daily progress reports.

SI Engineering, PC, NY - Condition Inspection of Air-train Stations, JFK

Airport, New York, NY - The work involved condition inspection of Air-

train Station Buildings, preparation of reports, review and verification of

as-built plans, as well as preparation of new plans for the structure; on-

site immediate repair condition assessments, inventory updating, developing

conceptual recommendations for correcting any deficiencies, determining

condition of all structures, indicating defects in the structural members,

giving the remedies to the problems, maintaining the daily reports and

photo log chronologically and based on structural groups

SI Engineering, PC.-Rehabilitation and maintenance of different commercial

and residential buildings in Queens, NY. Managed and supervised the

rehabilitation and maintenance work at different places Time and human

resource management factor was very effective during this work. Discussed

DOB & ECB officials to solve the problems associated with the building

structures and to remove violations from the record. Inspected construction

work of buildings including, RCC, masonry, flooring, roofing, replacement

of doors and windows, lintels, repair of spandrel beams and columns, repair

and replacement of parapet wall, coping stone flashing and railings.

SI Engineering, PC, NY- Condition Inspection, Admin. Buildings of George

Washington Bridge, Fort Lee, NJ - Work included performing reconnaissance,

making location plans and as built building drawings taking exact

measurements of different dimensions of the buildings; collecting

information data regarding existing condition of buildings; finding

defects, evidences and causes of those defects and the possible future

problems in the different structural elements of the buildings; giving

technical solutions to the problems found during inspection; arranging

photos and maintaining the photo logs chronologically; preparing the

Condition Survey Reports based on findings and conclusions during condition

survey. Used computer soft-wares including Auto-CAD, Microsoft Office,

Adobe to prepare the Survey Reports

. Site Engineer: Nov. 2005 to Sep. 2007

SKB Engineering - Pakistan Motorway M-1 Project, Islamabad-Peshawar, a 154

km long 6-lane project - Performed roadway topographic survey, made

contour plans, verified the layout and profile of the road using total

station and auto level, collected soil samples for testing ; supervised

clearing and grubbing, excavation, blasting of stones, making cutting and

embankments, drainage system, grade, curbs and gutters; used effective

equipment and construction procedures in compliance with plans,

specifications and contract provisions ; provided adequate measures to

protect workers and public during all phases of the construction.

Conducted tests on concrete including, slump test, temperature, air content

test, compression strength test; prepared the concrete specimens; gradation

tests for fine and coarse aggregates; conducted compaction tests with sand

replacement tests, core cutter and Nuclear Gauge methods; Conducted bitumen

tests including softening point test and flash point test. Maintained

project files, required reports, certificates, payrolls, etc in good order

to permit acceptance of job by designated authority. Prepared in final

format the contract change orders with clear justifications and cost

estimations for approval of engineer in charge. Computed daily work

quantities take offs to make interim payment certificates. Evaluated

quantity and quality of all construction materials supplied at site,

finalized contract items and prepared final interim payment certificates.

Prepared shop drawings and as built drawings to compare with the

construction drawings.
