Experience

Pathseeker Center October 2010 - Present

Clinical Counselor (Registered Clinical Social Work Intern) - Provide

individual, marriage, and family therapy addressing issues surrounding

grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, bi-polarity, pervasive

personality disorders, fears, and infidelity through a various modalities.

Additional roles: victim's advocate, community resource management

A Woman's Place Ministries, Inc. August 2008 - April 2010

Full-time MSW Intern - Provided crisis intervention, short-term counseling,

and facilitated psycho-educational support groups. Populations served

included adolescents, women, poverty stricken, affluent, couples, and

families. Issues addressed included anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD,

relational struggles, and spiritual growth. Additional roles: community

Ophelia Project of Tampa Bay February 2006 - January 2008

Group Facilitator - Facilitated groups for elementary and adolescent

females, focusing on topics of peer relationships, self-esteem,

empowerment, and social pressure.

Grace Family Church October 2000 - August 2008

Group Facilitator - Facilitated over six different small groups in a

variety of settings. Worked with ministry staff, couples, women, and

adolescents.

Skills

Queen of Your own Space: Empowering Women through Self Defense. Developed,

copyrighted, and facilitated this six-week curriculum, which fuses basic

self-defense techniques and group discussion time. All teachings are based

on 2 Timothy 1:7.

Certified Surrendering the Secret Leader. Certified to guide post-abortive

women through this empowering journey of healing.

Secretary for SUPPORT Inc. Board of Directors. A non-profit community

initiative located in Tampa, Florida.
