Enterprises, Full Moon Universe, Global One, Telemundo, Latin Universe, and

Ventura Distribution - Spanish Markets Specialist.
Managed all sales operations in Spanish markets. Responsibilities included
sales, marketing & advertising for Puerto Rico, management of traditional
video distributors for Spanish product sales ( Ingram, Baker & Taylor,
VPD), and management of Spanish product, programs, product selection,
marketing and advertising into mass merchant accounts ( Best Buy, Wal*mart,
Target, Tower Records, Costco, and Hastings).
Key Accomplishments:
. Set up Puerto Rico as a territory.
. Brokered acquisitions deal with Spanish label Lola Films, (44 picture
library, for a five year license term)
. On-going acquisitions in Spain Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico including
over 250 motion pictures deals with: Imcine, Aries, Televisa, Lola Films,
Latido, KWA, Patagonic, Sogepac.
. Planned and managed the entrance of Ventura into both Mexico and Brazil
via joint venture partnerships, with Gussie in Mexico and Top Tape in
Brazil.
CIC Video International (Mexico) - Business Development Consultant

Planned and managed the business development of CIC Mexico under its
license agreement with Paramount and Universal for the reproduction, sales,
distribution, and marketing of licensed video product. Appointed acting
Director responsible for the administrative and operational functions of
the business. Managed the development of the CIC Mexico corporate offices.
Negotiated office space lease agreements, procurement of business
registrations, authorizations and permits. Hired staff and managed the
recruitment and selection of CIC Mexico key executives.
Performed extensive market research to identify the customer base for both
rental and sell through market sectors in the respective sales territory.
Developed and negotiated agreements with the retail partners on methods of
sale, distribution, duplication, marketing and delivery of product.
Handleman Company - Director Domestic and International Spanish Markets

Domestic
Directed Handleman's $80 million dollar Spanish Music and Video division.
Responsible for all product purchasing, sales expansion strategies, cross
promotional program development, media advertising and marketing campaigns.
Implemented the expansion of Spanish music and video sales in five of
Handleman's major mass merchant accounts that included K-Mart, Wal*Mart,
Bradless, Shopko and Meijer. Managed a staff of five regional music buyers
and four video buyers.
International
Developed Handleman's international video item master of over 1,000 SKU's.
Provided guidance in assisting the International Licensee's and studio
direct operations in the design of product selection, product pricing, and
launching of video sell-through operations in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.
Designed planograms and video merchandising programs and created marketing
strategies to support the company's major retail partners in these three
Latin American countries.
Latin Vision - CEO and Founder Jan 94

Developed and Launched Latin Vision, a specialty business engaged in
marketing Spanish language movie video product to domestic Spanish markets
through traditional distributors (i.e. ETD, Ingram, Baker & Taylor and
Sight and Sound). In the international markets, Latin Vision licensed its
movie library foreign rights to Latin American distributors. Negotiated and
administered a contract with Full Moon Entertainment for both domestic
Spanish language rights and foreign rights to Latin America.
Full Moon Entertainment - V.P. Domestic Spanish Markets and Latin America

Planned and implemented the launch of Full Moon's Spanish Video Division.
Directed the sale and administration of Full Moon's foreign film rights to
Latin American distributors for video, television, and theatrical rights in
the larger countries. Managed the acquisition of foreign Spanish language
film rights for domestic markets. Responsibilities included the
establishment of sales distribution systems, drafting movie release
schedules, development of marketing and advertising strategies. Directed
the business operational functions that included product duplication,
freight, delivery, printing, sales and collections. Extensive domestic
travel for delivery of sales presentations and allocations of MDF funds.
Attended major film market promotions including Cannes, Milfed and AFM.
Vestron Inc. - V.P. Domestic Spanish Markets and Director Latin America

Drafted the business development plan for the launch of Vestron Video
Espa ol, the company's Spanish video division. Directed the sales and
administration of video distribution to major retail partners and video
distributors. Managed the acquisition of foreign Spanish language film
rights. Responsibilities included drafting and maintenance of video release
schedules, preparing release announcements and the development of marketing
and advertising strategies. Allocated cooperative advertising funds to
major retail customers and video distributors. Managed the financial
functions of the division. Performed sales analysis, sales projections,
prepared forecast for yearly budget schedules, managed the budget,
submitted quarterly management reports and consolidated financial
statements. Directed the sales and administration of Vestron International
Group's film library rights to Latin American distributors for theatrical,
video, cable and television. Attended all major film market promotions
including Cannes, AFM, NAPTE
Sound Video Unlimited - Manager Premium and Specialty Markets

Drafted initial agreement for the entrance of Curtis Mathes into the video
business via finance arrangement set through Bank of America. Managed open-
to-buy video budget for Muebleria de San Juan, a forty store video and
furniture subsidiary of Borg Warner International in Puerto Rico. Account
Executive for Pueblo International, the eventual Blockbuster franchisee.
Sales administrator of a very large geographical territory, which included
Puerto Rico, Florida, the Carolinas, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and
the valley of Texas.
