I think I would be a perfect fit for your Copywriter position. I am highly
conceptual and an excellent creative writer and proofreader.
I have thorough experience working on DM and EM campaigns. At Robinson &
Maites I worked on flash banner ads, in-store promotions and ads, social,
interactive, and print. I worked on landing pages for FedEx Office. I
created an online coupon page for them and updated it weekly. I worked on
multiple flash banner ads for FedEx.
I am also excellent at working on a deadline. At Robinson & Maites, I had
to complete a groundbreaking new FedEx campaign with my art director in 3
days (included in my portfolio). I work well under pressure and with a
specific deadline in mind. I also had the opportunity to proofread over 200
DM's and EM's. I found mistakes that three account execs missed who checked
over these pieces before me. I have a gift for finding typos. I also have
an addiction with photographing signs with typos and sharing them on
websites.
Awards wise, I won a Silver ADDY for my Southwest Airlines Campaign and had
my IKEA campaign exhibited in New York One Show.
Now that business is taken care of, lets divert our attention to the fun
stuff for a while! In my free time I create my own board games, listen to
vinyl, and bargain hunt! My best find is the Beatles rare Yesterday and
Today Butcher Album repressed in pink vinyl! I've won naming contests-
everything from Bean Sprouts to Cocktails. I won the stock market game and
got free Krispy Kremes for a year...and I still manage to weigh 105 pounds
.I have an enlarger and hope to set up my darkroom again someday. I have
over 300 vinyl records. I have 2 cats: Igby (Eleanor Igby) and Oliie
(Olliepop) ba dum dum dum. I've floated in the dead sea. rode a camel, and
climbed Mount Masada...all in one day! When I was a kid I collected over
3,000 McDonald figurines. It's my dream to be a contestant on Wheel of
Fortune!
