Project Description: CA SiteMinder, a software security product

that secures access to any web application across the firm

by inspecting the security information contained in the

HTTP input request submitted by end requesters. Leveraging

a core set of cryptography standards, it uses centralized

security policy bound to user identity to provide

authentication, authorization, administration and

accounting services.

In JPMC, we leverage SiteMinder to be an authentication solution (&

Single Sign-On) for all web applications.

Product Description: Healthcare product having the modules - Claims

Processing, Administration/Billing, Case Management,

Workflow/Imaging, Master File Maintenance, Web Self

ware etc.,

The Javelina core uses PostgreSQL open source as database

and the GUI is developed using HTML. For database

operations the utility called data grape developed by

Eldorado is used to have the application be able to run on

any database. A data grape use XMLs for interacting with

the database and returns the response in XML format. Front

end code will parse the same and sends to the browser. For

the front end web application, HTML and the controller

using servlet is used and the core will use data grapes for

DB operations and the request-response will be handled by

the Request Manager, Request Handler and Business Objects.

Entry point to the Core is the Request Manager which

directs the request to corresponding Handler which in turn

calls data grapes method directly or via the Business

Object. XML schema definition files will be used for

generating the SQL script files for creating the tables and

also for generating a template based Java file which has

pre- populated methods for calling the database. This java

file is the heart of the application which contains all the

Database methods required for the screen or section of a

screen in consideration.
