PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Ship Superintendent, BAE SYSTEMS Norfolk Ship Repair, Norfolk, Virginia, October 2005

to May 2011.

2nd Shift Superintendent responsible for production management of multiple trades, ensuring

production plan, schedule, and budget for each ship in repair is carried out according to

plan/schedule. Position required direct, daily interaction with the customer.

Area Sales Representative/Route Driver, Eastern Commercial Services, Chesapeake, Virginia,

July 2004 to October 2005.

Company sales representative and route driver in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and

Pennsylvania. Responsibilities included product pickup and delivery as well as recruitment of

new business for the company. Position required direct interaction with customers on a daily

basis and involved extensive travel to fulfill responsibilities.

Warehouse Manager, The Sigmon Group, Chesapeake, Virginia, October 2002 to April 2004.

Manager of team responsible for the receipt, inspection, inventory, bar-coding, packaging

and issue of U.S. Navy shipboard Damage Control Equipment. Recognized by company

VP for warehouse reorganization and development of database to track warehouse

inventory. Member of a twenty person team that conducted large-scale Integrated Logistics

Overhaul (ILO) projects onboard U.S. Navy Warships and Shore Stations. Responsible for

ensuring the quality control of Chemical/Biological/Radiological (CBR) individual protective

equipment kits delivered in support of the CBR Readiness Improvement Program (RIP).

Additional responsibilities included inventory of available warehouse assets plus receipt, bar-

coding, and issue of shipboard CBR gear.

Served in the United States Navy from February 1975 to October 1996.
