Manage a group of five technical writers and one web developer.
Responsible for documenting a mainframe-based mutual fund accounting system
used by brokerage houses, transfer agents, and other financial services
firms. Successfully transitioned department from a WinHelp-based publishing
model to a web-based approach. Conducted extensive needs analysis and
changed the documentation strategy to better match the needs of the
audience and the company. Oversee the development of our business unit's
intranet, which consists of some 40 applications used on a daily basis for
project tracking and planning.

Was responsible for all user assistance materials for a line of graphics
design software products. Wrote user manuals, created online help, and
managed offsite writers. Used a variety of authoring tools, including

related documents for electronic musical keyboards (synthesizers and
samplers) and PC sound cards. I was promoted to this position after working
for two years as a technical writer in the company's hearing aid division.
