me to achieve the best price points from manufacturers and stay current with fashion trends. I also attended

the yearly International Window Covering Expo in search of new vendors, products and new trends and

Stein Mart / General Store Manager 1997 – 1998 / Montgomery, AL

Managed off-priced fashion department store with annual sales in excess of $6M. Collaborated with

warehouse personnel in ordering inventory. Directly responsible for expense planning & control, profit and loss,

human resource management and visual merchandising. Supervised over 40 employees including

management staff.

Stein Mart / Assistant Store Manager 1992 – 1997 / Jacksonville and Orlando, FL

Interviewed, hired, trained and supervised 40 – 60 employees in multiple departments, principal contact for

staff/customer relations and operational issues, assumed General Manager responsibilities in their absence,

spearheaded all phases of new store opening in Orlando which included working with contractors to ensure

safety code compliance, security installation and computer system installation. I coordinated and supervised
