Position: Office Manager
The main tasks for this position consisted of:
0. Supervising the administrative staff of 7 employees and participating
in the recruitment of new personnel in consultation with the Chief
of Party
0. Conducting annual performance reviews and evaluations of employees
0. Assisting in the arrangement of administrative support for short-term
consultants and contractors
0. Applying existing overall administrative and management policies in
compliance with USAID procedures in order to provide guidance to
project staff and consultants
0. Preparing fiscal monitoring controls on procurement integrity
0. Developing and implementing new or revised policies regarding
administrative duties in line with USAID guidelines
0. Evaluating financial transactions within the project and ensure
cost/quality efficiencies
0. Elaborating budget and expense projections for the main office as well
as for activities planned .
The project is being executed under the funding of USAID in partnership
with Associates in Rural Development (ARD Inc.) and the State University
of New-York (SUNY) in Haiti. The project provides training for the Haitian
parliamentarians of both Chambers.

0. Prepare monthly Accounts Report for main office in Burlington, Vermont
0. Write checks for Accounts Payable and prepare Invoices for Accounts

0. Verify Petty Cash Report along with Office Administrative Assistant.
0. Prepare Payroll for local employees with a MS Excel spreadsheet
0. Organizing the filing of financial documentations and other relevant
backup according to USAID regulations.
