(Bangalore Development Authority).

. Working under Analysis & Design of Substructure details.

. Bridges are Simply Supported "I" Girder type.

. The bridge is on a partially curved alignment having span

configuration of 12 X 20m + 12 X 35m.

. The super structure consists of 5 no's of pre-cast post

tensioned I Girder and cast in situ prestressed concrete Box

Girder with a 12m wide cast in situ deck slab.

. The substructure comprises of Cantilever type Abutment pier and

Column type Piers founded on pile foundation.

. The bridge structure has been modeled by Finite element

Technique using SAP 2000 Advanced Version 14 / STAAD Pro 2007

and Analysis has been performed to get various output such as

Bending moment, Shear forces and Torsion quantities at various

locations of the bridge.

. Super structure Design is performed as per IRC standards.

. The Substructure component such as Abutment, Piers and other

miscellaneous structural elements have been designed by using in-

house developed programs spread sheets and satisfies the various

IRC stipulations.

2. Analysis and Design of PSC River Bridges in Bangalore under KRDCL
