Supervisory Occupational Health Nurse / Certified Case Manager

Well established knowledge of Occupational Health/Safety hazards programs,

laws, and regulations (OSHA/ CDC/ NIOSH/ NFPA/ DOT). Execute Program

management of an en-catchment area of 80 thousand Employees with

Surveillance programs in regards to health and environmental safety

programs (monthly appointment evaluations of approximately 500 employees).

Track Worker's Comp injuries, Illness, and BBP claims. Collect statement of

injury and address concern with provider, supervisor, human resources,

legal counsel and adjustor. Perform monthly work site visits to assess and

determine the employee work processes that will identify potential sources

of exposures that could lead to illness and injury. Implementing standards

for worker's by OSHA guidelines. Review pre- employment physicals and

established employees charts for completion of examinations mandated by

Federal and State laws. Ensuring Accurate testing, interpretation, and

follow-up are done by evidence of chart reviews. QA charts for effective

screening and surveillance of workers exposed to hazards. Participate in

Quarterly assist visits for providers by monitoring and evoking adherence

to periodic screening of individual workers surveillance programs IE:

Asbestos, Cadmium, and Isocyantates, Lead, Metal fumes, MVO, DOT, Police

Officers, Firefighter, Waste Management and so forth. Collaborate with

Industrial Hygiene Officers, Human resources, labor union representatives

and Safety Inspectors to increase positive out-comes.

to workers compensation for Active duty and Reservist in a Medical Hold
