15+ Make Time to Listen, Take Time to Talk about Bullying
I worked with EPIC Community Services and Mental Health America in a service learning project at
Flagler College. My responsibilities included giving a 10 minute speech about bullying to different
groups around the community and presenting a 15 minute game to teach the importance of parental
involvement to prevent bullying. Among other responsibilities, I was required to do my own research
and present it in an understandable way. I specifically talked to substance abuse groups, PTA groups
and children’s groups.
