Pan-Oceanic Engineering Co., Inc., Chicago, Illinois, December 2008 – March 2011

Pan-Oceanic is a self-performing DBE General Contractor that focuses on work within Chicago. Self-performed work

includes; excavation, storm sewer, aggregate base course, concrete, minor asphalt and landscaping.

Senior Project Manager

Responsible for the daily project management and communications between field and office operations, and for

building the company’s customer base and client relationships. Coordinate subcontractor scheduling and project

invoicing for all projects including Metra, Chicago Dept. of Transportation and Chicago Park District projects.

Estimate, negotiate and process all project change orders. Supervise five field foremen responsible for 35 laborers and

operators, one superintendent, and two office staff personnel

General Contractor. Responsible for reducing the company from 3 estimators and annual sales of $1.5M to 2

estimators and $8.5M annual sales while increasing profitability.
