Responsibilities:
Analyzed, identified, recommended and implemented effective financial
budgeting processes and sound accounting reporting structure (GAAP),
cemented with strong internal controls (SOX), in order to assist our USA,
European and Asian Pacific Business Development Teams in a global effort to
introduce 3 new business units within Latin America, in addition to
managing 9 FTE's.
Directed finance and accounting operations for Argentina, Brazil,
Venezuela, Uruguay, Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico, Guatemala and Colombia and
inter-company transaction with USA, Europe and Asia Pacific. Broad scope
of authority included executive guidance for all Operational Finance,
accounting, treasury, contracts and procurement, taxations, logistics,
internal audit, and transfer price analysis for clinical trial operations
with LATAM.
Achievements:
Capital Markets and Banking Relationship:
. Developed professional personal relationships with banking, fiscal and
governmental officials providing channels of effective communication
for day to day business operations within Latin America. This
resulted in streamlining proper processes for cash receipt and
disbursement (equity, debt, intra/inter-companies, revenue collection
and expenditures) within L.A, USA and Europe as well as providing all
filing requirements to proper authorities in a complete and timely
manner.
International Finance/Accounting and Taxations:
. Reduced average days of receivables outstanding from 50 days to the
contractual agreement of 30 days, while improving monthly liquidity
and solvency issues.
. Increased FTE utilization by 15% and realization by 10%, thereby
increasing our profitability margins.
. Increased sales by 35% and 25%YOY through a combined effort with the
marketing and business development teams.

. Reduced tax payments across LATAM by reducing IOI margins from an

Responsibilities:
Provided financial planning, budgeting, and program management support to
the IT and Engineering, Health Analytics and Administrative and Finance
Support business. Analyzed actual results versus budgeted/forecasted
estimates in addition to monthly and quarterly ad-hoc reports with metric
analysis, including performing analysis and reconciliation of budget
trends, obligations, and expenditures utilizing the available corporate
databases.
Achievements:
. Tracked revenue of over $120M and analyzed potential financial
opportunities and risks. Also analyzed project stages and identified
projects ready to be launched into revenue generation activities
contributing to revenue increases of over 20% YOY.
