contactors, motor starters, amperage, voltages, relays, process controls,
transformers, infrared thermography, laser alignment, vibration analysis,
oil analysis and their effects upon working elements.
(iv) Certified experience diesel engine driven power platforms to 600 HP,
including stand-by emergency generators, compressors, pumps, etc.
(v) Proficient with the use of oxy-acetylene and oxy-propane heating and
cutting torches and Lincoln stick arc welding apparatus.
(vi) Electrical troubleshooting experience in both AC/DC voltages from
micro to 480 volts, up to 300 amp platforms.
(vii) Skilled with the use of complex mechanical inspection equipment &
equations including Volt/Ohm meters, micrometers, gauges & calipers.
(viii) Understanding of geometric dimensioning in engineering tasks,
interpretation of blueprints and schematics.
(ix) Make critical pass/fail decisions on inspected goods and machinery.
May improvise or adapt inspection methodology and / or measuring devices as
needed to examine, determine and eliminate system fault and malfunction.
Monitor and verify quality assurance in accordance with statistical
