Senior Sharepoint Administrator in a corporate Finance and Insurance IT
environment with responsibilities for managing enterprise-wide applications
accessed by thousands of global users. Responsibilities include
maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, back-up and recovery, project
planning, daily management of existing portals, performance tuning and
capacity planning. Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and
testing for Development, Integration, Testing and Production environments.
Provide Senior Management Demonstrations to include drafting and producing
prototype models for new portal capabilities. Coach site administrators on

version. SharePoint upgrade includes parallel SQL Server upgrade from 2000
to 2005. Project Lead for backup software migration from HP DataProtector
5.0 to Veritas Netbackup Enterprise 5.1. Perform research on backup
software, wrote justification for migration, installation, configuration,
testing, migration, and disaster recovery testing. Migration allowed
necessary consolidation of company backups to a single software product.
Redesign the backup software system to increase efficiency and incorporate
a disaster recovery plan.
Management responsibilities include technology assessments, system
architecture and engineering, disaster tolerance and recovery planning,
project forecasting, and budgetary inputs. Submit project proposals and
justifications to illustrate reduction to cost and risk impacts. Coach
