Company Recruiter: Marketing & Communications Director
Fender Musical Instruments Corporation
8860 East Chapparal Road, Suite 100
Scottsdale, AZ 85250
Dear Recruitment Executive:
Thank you for the opportunity to submit my electronic cover letter and
r sum for the position of Marketing and Communications Director at Fender
Musical Instruments Corporation. Allow me to share how my skills fit your
needs.
Since 1999, I have handled communications, marketing and crisis response
for state and county government. Maintaining relationships with reporters
and assignment editors that are based on trust, timely response and quality
content has led to my success in local, trade or national media.
Developing support materials with a consistent branding strategy is key to
recognition as a market leader.
I have directed the response to H1N1 flu, measles, rabies and other public
health emergencies, development deals, controversial decisions,
power/weather/traffic events and the development of critical infrastructure
for the state. In addition, I provide strategic counsel to elected
officials and management in order to achieve objectives or position issues.
I am an accomplished writer equally comfortable with feature, news or
technical writing.
Soon after my arrival at Pinal County, we launched an entirely new website
as well as a comprehensive branding strategy with collateral materials. I
drew from my many years of agency experience and knowledge of marketing
strategy to strengthen the reputation of Pinal County.
The same qualities that have allowed me to excel in my career would make me
a valuable asset to the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation team. Thank
you in advance for your consideration.
Sincerely,
(sent via email)
Heather Murphy
