Selected Project Highlights
Home Place Shopping Center Oversaw all construction phases for 85,000 sq. ft. building housing
medical offices and several restaurants. Worked with engineers, excavators, and framers to drop one
end of building to maintain consistent appearance for storefront to accommodate tenants requiring a
higher ceiling. Realized $500K in value engineering savings engineers and architects overlooked.
Parade of Homes Built five homes featured in the local "Parade of Homes" resulting in the ability to
get a price premium for each unit.
Balboa Health Care Coordinated with the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development
(OSHPD) to install new HVAC and electrical units for 189 residents of a four-story skilled nursing
facility. Removed existing water heater and installed new equipment.
Covenant Hills Assigned to rescue a large housing track of 56 custom homes that was far behind
schedule. Worked with architects and engineers to resolve problems in the planning stage that
streamlined production and reduced construction time 10%. Reduced number of change orders by
arbitrating with subcontractors in the field.
Pardee Homes Cost Reduction As Six Sigma Green Belt, employed quality improvement methods
and techniques to streamline construction operations resulting in $5K savings per home.
