Position: EHSQC Manager
Duties: Managed complete safety program for Marine & Shipyards.. I'm
responsible for the complete safety and training of employees. Developed,
trained and enforced polices and procedures.. Investigated all accidents
and insured proper OSHA, DOT, USCG, TCEQ compliance regulations were
enforced. Developed and maintained the following safety programs; Lock-out
and Tag-out, fall protection program, hearing conservation, OSHA 300 logs,
P.P.E program, H2S, Blood-borne pathogens program, Emergency action
program, First aid, Respiratory protection program, Overhead cranes,
hoists, forklift certifications, welding/cutting, fire extinguishers and
many more. Insured all workers health claims were processed and

2005-2008: Coastal Cargo Marine Stevedore Company and Terminal Warehouses
Position: Safety Manager
Duties: Established Stevedore company complete safety/training program from
start. Audit foreign ships, trucks, forklifts and cranes working in the
Port of Houston and declared them safe for employees. I trained employees
on OSHA, USCG, DOT, TCEQ regulations and requirements. I enforced OSHA,
DOT, USCG, and internal requirements for cranes, forklifts, 18- wheelers
and lifting equipment. Completed and maintained weekly, monthly and yearly
equipment and terminal/warehouse safety audits. Established and enforced
company safety policies and procedures. Insured all workers health claims
were processed/ investigated for any fraudulent claims.
2000-2005 Present: Oldcastle Concrete Products, Inc.

Duties: Managed 75-Employees in all phases of well-organized and planned
concrete manufacturing plants. Developed, implemented and was responsible
for all safety and environmental procedures and programs; Waste water, lock-
out-tag-out, hazardous material, electrical safety, confine space permits,
hot work permits, P.P.E regulations, Employee safety training and all OSHA

safety regulations and rules. Insured plant was in compliance with all OSHA
regulations by conducting regular safety audits. Developed budget controls

Steel Plate Pipe Mill

manufacturing and major Fabrications projects ranging in prices between
$20,000 to millions of dollars, responsible for the coordination of all
aspects of a pipe mill manufacturing process operation. I actively maintain
all documentation, controlled all manpower, and was involved in every phase
of the financial and contractual aspect of each project. Planned, procured,
and implemented all required activities, equipment, and permits to
establish an operational office to conduct business.
