Mercy Medical is a non-profit healthcare provider licensed as a Rehabilitation Hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Hospice and
Assisted Living Facility. Mercy Medical also operates a Medicare/Medicaid certified Home Health Agency. Mercy Medical is
accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (J.C.A.H.O.)
Responsibilities included:
• Served as a member of the Mercy Medical Leadership Team for overall operations.
• Built, marketed and staffed three separate residential assisted living facilities achieving and maintaining over 90%
occupancy.
• Restructured the Home Health and Hospice program achieving a staff reduction of fifty staff without a loss in productivity
• Achieved 93rd percentile in employee satisfaction as measured by Moorhead Survey.
• Responsibilities have included property acquisitions and more than 16 million in new construction.

The Mobile Mental Health Center is a comprehensive community mental health center employing approximately 400 persons with a
budget of over 20 million annually. The center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations
(J.C.A.H.O.)
Responsibilities included:
• Coordination, design, and development of effective service delivery systems. (implemented more than 20 center programs)
• Program supervision, program development and service delivery, financial management, organization and planning.
• Coordination of various programs to achieve overall specific center goals.
• Design, redesign, and plan development of facility renovations.
• Coordinated with architects on facility design and oversight for new construction.
• Problem solving and intervention on special projects as assigned by the Executive Director.

Mobile Mental Health Center
Chief Adolescent Services 1979 -1983
Adolescent Services consisted of three separate programs; Libra House Youth Counseling Center (outpatient, day treatment,
alternative education and youth alcoholism services.) Turning Point, a residential program for emotionally disturbed adolescents,
and Sojourn, a residential program for runaways and otherwise homeless youth. Administrative duties included program supervision,
program development, and service delivery. Direct Services included individual, group, and family therapy. Initiated and developed
the Sojourn program during this time period
