My objective is to use information, knowledge, and skills I've developed as Shift

Supervisor, Console Operator and Lead Operator to help you maintain a safe and

productive environment.

Abilities

Ability to quickly learn new units and processes. Able to motivate and lead by example. Ability to

adapt and work well in a diverse environment. Able to work in a fast pace environment with very

little supervision. Have operated the Foxboro control system, Honeywell TDC 2000 control

system And the Delta V controls system. Used SAP, Lotus Notes, LIMS, and a variety of other

10/2010 - Current Dynamic Fuels LLC

Geismar, LA

Console/Lead operator for all areas of a Renewable fuels Synthetic Diesel process plant.

Train new or promoted field and console operators. Delegate work tasks to field operators,

assist Shift Supervisor in monitoring and oversight of all Plant operations. Helped develop

true unit operating parameters for targeted product specs in the renewable fuels facility.

Shift Supervisor

12/2009 - 09/2010 Exxon Mobil

Chalmette, LA

Supervisor/Console operator for the UltraCracker, #3 Reformer, #3 Pre-Treater and Light

ends Plant. Maintain communication with and guide field operators through process and

maintenance issues. Identify and correct costly Gems and Tiers for the units in my care. Use

historical data to maximize unit thru-put. Monitor Furnace emissions for compliance with

Local, State and Federal regulations.

11/2008 - 12/2009 Universal Personnel

First line Supervisor/Console operator servicing the Hydro cracker, #3 Reformer, #3 Naphtha

Pre treater and Light Ends Plant. My duties aside from operations consist of handling

personnel issues, attending meetings as well as conducting unit meetings with the IT,

Engineering and daily Operations group. l Promote safety as priority above all else. l Instruct

unit operators in daily tasks. l Ensure proper use of SOP's. l Operate units according to

Refinery Strategy and product specifications. l Perform thorough shift turnover and provide

legible notes in the shift log book. l Operate units within the local, state and federal

environmental guidelines. l Investigate, document and report any environmental exceedences.

Console/Lead operator

10/1997 - 07/2007 Transamerica/Valero

Norco, LA

Began with Transamerica in 1997, moved to the Operations Department in where I rose from

Operator trainee in the HDS units to Lead Operator in 2001. By the time Valero purchased the

refinery in 2003 I was training on the Console and became a fulltime console operator in 2005.

Trained new operators. Developed safe work habits before SOP's were available. Work well with

little or no supervision. Assisted in coordinating construction projects that frequently came in

ahead of schedule and under budget. Became one of the " Go To Guys " in the HDS / Reformer

units. Able to use available resources to complete tasks when called upon to do so. Initiated

corrections to SOP's before injury and an emergency situation arose. Lead a team of no less

than 4 operators daily as well as during regular and emergency shutdowns. Thoroughly familiar

with start-up, shut-down and emergency procedures. Heavily involved in the Construction, Pre-

Commissioning, and Start-up of several Process units. Shift Lead during outtages and

maintenance.
