packaging, and conveying equipment.

Designed automated assembly machines utilizing Design for

Maintainability concepts with hands-on installation, PLC

programming, debugging, adjustment, maintenance, and repair

Designed tooling and assembly fixtures for door lock manufacturing in

a production-line, machining, polishing, and plating

environment.

Designed lock components utilizing Design for Assembly and Design for

Manufacturing (DFA/DFM) techniques coupled with the

processing of all documentation contained within the

Engineering Change Request (ECR).

Granted U.S. Patents #5,604,970 and #5,697,653 for a door lock

component design and assembly method respectively.

Project Engineer responsible for the transfer of door lock

manufacturing equipment from Colorado to a $2.2 million

capital project consisting of a new plant start up in

Ensenada, Mexico.

Project Engineer responsible for the disposition of

production equipment and layout documentation of a plant

closure in Brea, California.

Trained in and have utilized Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing

techniques which included time studies, routing revisions,

data analysis, Kaizen, value stream mapping, process flow

diagrams, plant layouts, cell layouts, ergonomic

cooling systems.

Designed holding tanks for pressure vessels to conduct underwater

leak testing utilizing compressed air.

Operated bridge & cantilever cranes, MIG welders, and oxy-acetylene &

plasma torches. (January 1988 to May 1989. Departed for a

promotional opportunity.)
