I am currently teaching a four (4) year old class. This school uses the Reggio Emilia

method of teaching children. I have 14 student and an aide. We provide learning

experiences for the children which include math, social studies, science, literacy, writing

and also sensory, motor skills, dramatic play opportunities.

Pre-school Teacher Mission Viejo Christian School

2006 -

I taught three (3) and four (4) year old classes. Many times the classes were of the older

threes and fours. I was responsible for preparing the lesson plan ensuring all the

academic and developmental needs of the children were met. I tested the children 3

times a year and prepared their progress reports. I met with the parents once a year to

discuss the child’s performance. I have also subbed in the kindergarten class and

therefor have experience with teaching kindergarten children the state common core

standards. I supervised an aide and participated in all the yearly school functions. I

performed all the duties of running a pre-school classroom.

I taught science as an after school program to children in grades kindergarten through 6th.

The children completed many projects while learning about science.

I taught pre-school age children. I performed the same duties as stated above. In

addition, I assisted older children with their homework and tutored in various subjects.

I assisted the teacher with teaching 4 and 5 year old children. I assisted with all phases of

teaching the lesson plan. I helped set up the room, boards, toys and supplies. I also

supervised the children in the playground.
