Led staff in Singapore, Luxembourg and California responsible for the
global treasury infrastructure and capital markets products of PayPal.
This included cash management, balance sheet management, bank
relationships, financing, capital planning, global liquidity and
regulatory requirements, foreign exchange, deposit and investment
products. Foreign exchange, deposit and investment products generated
over $300 million annually in operating margin for PayPal. Modified
policies, procedures and processes which generated tens of millions of
dollars in incremental annual revenues.
. Managed all aspects of moving $500 million daily, in a virtual, global,
real time marketplace, transacting in 60 currencies, 190 countries, and
through four regulated entities.
. Simultaneously managed working capital, regulatory capital, VAT ratios,
intercompany settlements, liquidity, currency, and counterparty exposure,
and on and off balance sheet activities, with the goal of maximizing
revenues, minimizing expenses, reducing risk, and meeting all global
regulatory requirements.
. Team accomplishments included creating PayPal's Asset/Liability
Committee, automating the treasury infrastructure, winning the Alexander
Hamilton Award - Gold - in the Working Capital Management Category, and
winning two PayPalian Awards, one for introducing more currencies to

the five year period ending 12/31/2007 the PayPal Money Market Fund was

Overhauled Treasury process resulting in over $10 million in annual
savings. DLJ was acquired by Credit Suisse 2001.

customer funds waiting to be invested in the stock market.
< Performed the intra-day financing and settlements of all firm
activity. Settled over 500 syndicates per year as well as securing
and tracking all debit caps and exchange settlements both domestically

management related customer products. Implemented and managed

Assistant Treasurer, New York, NY
Led all operational areas within the Treasury Department for the
brokerage subsidiary of Fidelity Investments during a period of 50%
annual business growth and 100% people turnover due to department
relocation from Boston to New York City. Doubled credit lines while
changing borrowing profile from secured to unsecured. Developed a
mainframe wire transfer system, a deposit concentration system, and a
regional disbursement system for the retail network of 300 correspondents
and branches. Developed a bank compensation system to track fees paid to
over 200 banks.

Led the Money Management Department which supported investment banking,
trading, retail and commodity activities of approximately $15 billion
daily through a banking network of over 400 banks. Managed all borrowings
through usage of $5 billion in credit lines, commercial paper and various
short and intermediate term financing instruments.
Reduced interest expense, bank fees and operating expense over $15
million. Automated the treasury function. Positioned the Money Management
Department as the central bankers of the firm and all of its subsidiaries
worldwide.
