• In 2005, generated 45% year over year operating income growth in Orlando and 210% profit

g rowth in DC. Orlando generated highest operating margins of any significant GES office.

• Assumed responsibility for Texas and Atlanta offices in November 2001. Over two year

period led offices from an annual loss of $4 million (15% of revenue) to a profit of $3 million

(12% of revenue).

Vice President/General Manager - Chicago (1999 – 2000)

General Manager for $100M, four office division covering Midwestern United States.

Responsibili ties included full P & L ownership, client relationships, staff development and

customer service.

• Led Chicago operation to record year in 2000, beating historical best operating margin by

95%, besting budget by 27% and improving profit over prior year by $6.7M.

• Oversaw rebuilding of Detroit operation which, over an 18 month period, increased annual

revenue by over 200% and improved operating margins from 6.0% to 15.3%.

• Led cultural change resulting from the merger of three competing companies.

Vice President/General Manager - Dallas (1997 – 1999)

General Manager of Texas Division with accountability for all aspects of the operation. In July

1998 took on additional responsibili ty of overseeing the Mid-Atlantic division which covered

Washington DC, Baltimore and Philadelphia markets. Region generated annual revenue of $45M.

• Promoted to Texas operation in July 1997 when it had a year to date operating loss of 24%.

I mplemented significant changes that resulted in a full year operating margin of 4.5%, the

h ighest in the history of that division.

• Led Texas to record performance in 1998, more than doubling prior years’ operating results.

• Awarded Presidential Eagle Award in 1998, for exemplary performance by a General

M anager.

General Manager - Phoenix (1995 – 1997)

Full responsibility for the Arizona and New Mexico operations.

• Led the t ransition from a privately held company to public corporation. Credited with

d riving the smoothest t ransition of any acquisition in history of GES.

• Hi red and developed several key employees who eventually held senior level corporate

positions.

• Led office to record revenue and profits in 1996. Generated a 24% operating margin, the

CONCEPT CONVENT ION SERV ICES I NC., Phoenix AZ 1991 – 1995

Vice President of Finance

Accountable for all financial aspects of this privately held company including accounting, banking,

legal, and strategic planning. Oversaw many of the day to day aspects of the company. Had direct

responsibility for the Albuquerque, New Mexico and Tucson, AZ offices. Concept was acquired by

GES in June 1995.
