A basic assessment of my skills would include:
Truck driving-For more than 13 years I have driven class A trucks hauling
all sorts of trailers including van, lowboy dovetail, lowboy breakaway,
belly dump, hopper bottom, live bottom, route delivery, etc. as well as
class B trucks including concrete and dump trucks.
Route Sales/Delivery-For more than 5 months I ran a route sales/delivery
truck delivering canned/bottled products to grocery and convenient store
locations generally in the Southern part of Brazoria County selling,
stocking, and rotating product, collecting from customers, etc.
Big equipment-For over 4 years I delivered big equipment to chemical
plants, businesses, and residences all over SE Texas. I loaded, unloaded
and became very proficient in the operations of all makes, models and sizes
of all rental equipment including forklifts, dozers, rollers, backhoes,
trackhoes, scissor lifts, man lifts (40'-120') carry-deck cranes,
trenchers, etc. At that time I had a license to run all makes and models
of forklift and man lift, and frequently used the forklifts, carry-deck
cranes, etc. to load my truck, as well as having used a trackhoe on site to
dig pilings for a beach house, and to load my truck.
Construction and Remodeling-For over 8 months (and here and there on the
side) I did remodeling work including carpentry, painting (spray-brush-
roll), siding (vinyl, wood, and Hardee), sheetrock, etc.
Insurance adjusting-For 4 months I adjusted homes for State Farm that were
damaged in Hurricane Rita in Orange, TX.
I am a very dependable and punctual employee who prides himself in his
honesty and integrity. Thank you for your consideration. --David Ray
