Summary: I have over twenty years' experience in commercial offset

printing. I've been involved in all aspects of production

including price quoting, purchasing inventories, scheduling

production runs, and managing post press processes. I have worked

mostly in large format; 40 inch 6 color offset sheet fed

environments. Equipment experience includes Heidelberg, Komori,

Mehlie, Man Roland and Planeta (KBA) printing presses. I am good

at problem solving all aspects of production and technical

obstacles. I am seasoned in evaluating new hires, setting goals,

and maintaining high work ethics. I really enjoy working with

Duties: Maintain all aspects of pressroom production. Work directly with

customers and sales reps. on press. I have developed quality

assurance measures for production runs. Negotiated with vendors

for pricing and supplies for all production related needs. I ran

four color and two color 28"and 40" Heidelberg presses, Polar

cutters, shipping and receiving. Direct image to plate Heidelberg

system.

Dates: 8/90 to 10/92

Duties: Here we ran Komori six color 40" presses with inline dedicated

aqueous coaters. Waterless inks and offset printing inline. This

was critical exacting printing with extreme hi resolution

sometimes 500 line screens. Print length was held to 4 rows for

slitting post press. There were 36 units all printing exactly the

same length. Ink and water balances were monitored for wet traps,

dot gains, densities, and were recorded by GATF software

incorporated into the production runs upward of one million each.
