I worked for 25 years running my own dental practice. I am a very good

dentist and am really good with patients. For the last 3 years, I have

worked as an independent contract dentist. In other words, I am employed

based on earning a percentage of what I produce. My job is to come to work

see patients and treat them with outstanding care, professionalism and top

quality dentistry. I took over a practice, which produced $800,000 per

year with two dentists working it. I insist on working hard because it is

part of my nature.

I practice all prosthodontic fields, including implants. To date, I am

building on already placed implants, but am more than willing to place

implants with proper training. I practice level 1 and 2 periodontics,

anterior endodontics, some extractions and emergency care and of course

cosmetic restoration of beautiful smiles.

During my first 25 years, I have worked for 5 years in emergency medicine

with a very busy local rescue squad. I have training and experience as the

Infectious Disease Control Officer, for the entire rescue squad of 250

members. I am very knowledgeable and experienced in trauma and cardiac

emergencies. I was also Co-Captain of the Water Rescue and Recovery Team.

Now I need to address something if you are thorough, you will find out. In

March of 2008, I sold my practice in Charlottesville. I also sold my house

the next month, in April. I moved to Dublin, Virginia. I stayed in a

hotel for one month while looking for a place to live. I finally found a

home. However, in all this confusion, I forgot to renew my license on time

and change my address with the Board of Dentistry. I also did not take 15

hours of "approved" CE according the Board. I had somewhere near 100 hours

of CE, including ACLS and many other medical subjects. I was training in

University of Virginia hospital as a medic, learning to intubate patients,

start intravenous lines and administer drugs. However, this was not enough

because my CE hours were not "approved". Therefore I received a Reprimand

on my record.

Thank you for your consideration
