* Gave leadership to staff and volunteers at Southside Youth Senter,
through which we were able to increase membership in the After-
School and Summer Camp program by three fold, in a period of 2

FINANCE
* Planned and managed budgets in excess of $500,000.
* Ensured that an annual plan was developed and carried out that
provided the financial resources necessary to conduct the
activities of the organization.
* Worked to train staff and volunteers and gave leadership to the
development of major fundraising events that netted over $50,000.
* Worked with department staff to develop marketing tools (brochures,
fliers, letters, ads) to reach companies and business with the
products, classes and information to help them be better prepared
for emergencies.
* Raised over $74,000 in grant money to support the operations and
programs of Southside Youth Senter and over $124,000 in grant money
to support the American Red Cross of North Central Texas.
