Diversity Day: Organization Team Member January-April 2011
Princeton High School introduces student body and staff to a variety of different cultures, beliefs and
practices by hosting speakers, workshops and activities throughout the day.
• Reached out to personal network of fellow students, Xavier professors, and current employers to
participate in Diversity Day as speakers.
• Negotiated donations from vendors over the state of Ohio including local and large-scale
businesses, such as Ernst Sporting Goods.
• Delegated activities and assignments to student members.
• Collaborated with various teachers and staff members to execute Diversity Day.
Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education: Intern August-December 2010
• Created Middle School and High School lesson plans for traveling exhibits, focused on Dare to
Speak: Voices of Resistance project.

Stepping Stones Center: Volunteer November 2010
A non-profit organization, partnered with the United Way, which serves the needs of close to 1,000 adults
and children with disabilities annually through day camp and year-round activities.
• Took care of students with moderate to severe physical and cognitive disabilities, including
Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Down Syndrome.
• Facilitated both group and individual activities by overseeing games, crafts and lunch, and one-
on-one mentoring.
• Interacted with students and staff through group activities, orientation and debriefing meetings.
Bellarmine Chapel and St. Mary’s Parish Activities: Lector and Eucharistic Minister 2007-2010
