Project #1 : SOX-Application Control in Claim Center

Project Description: The main aim behind this project is to check whether
the backend code logics and business logics are functioning properly. As
the checking and understanding of code from backend as well as from UI will
be the final deliverables in the form of specified template/document. Also
these documents are final product being delivered as these will be used in
Final Auditing.
Mainly worked on all the Claim Center and Policy Center
Controls/requirements. Understood the business logic for all claim and
policy requirements along with understanding of code logic. Documented the
flow in the specified template provided by Client. Also worked on SOX
tester comments/queries and answered all their queries in Claim and Policy
controls. Worked on State+LOB code logic along with external system
involvement on the Claim and Policy controls and provided all the possible
information to Client on-time.
Worked on State+LOB code logic for some of the Underwriter controls and
Billing controls by understanding the business and code logic of these
systems. Also analyzed the concept of Fees and Request and Response XML
from Guidewire perspective to ACE on click of Rate button and provided the
information to the client on-time.

Manual Reconciliation

Project Description: The main aim of this project is to create a GX- model
as per the requirement and made it as a web service for Consuming for
Policy Renewal Conversion for Personal Auto LOB. Web Service client sends a
Work Order Number, (for e.g.: PQ0000000021, 62910,172430 etc.) .This Work
Order number is then provided to the WSDL, which in turn calls this GX-
Model. These GX-Model returns back the XML with all possible Policy Details
to the WSDL. This XML is then provided to the Web Service Client. If the
valid Work Order number is not provided by Web Service Client, then will
not get relevant policy details and this result in Error XML.Prepared a
Design Document for GW Web services part for Renewal Conversion.

Project Description: The main aim behind this project is that endorsement
Summary breakdown service would be used to fetch endorsement details of a
given policy. Details like the list of Endorsements made in a policy period
and details of a particular endorsement can be retrieved based on some
search criterion like policy number, module and Transaction number. The
endorsement summary wsdl sends the request parameters to Guidewire to find
the endorsement details.

Project #4: Defects Fixing & Testing in R9/Release 9

Project Description:
a) Tested Rate rules as per FR 154-FR 155.
b) Fixed the defect for HO Prior Losses -CLUE report fields should not be
editable, as Per FR34, When CLUE report is returned and table is
populated, all fields will not be editable. (Only field that will be
editable is Description )
c) Tested for Determination of No of losses in prior 3 years is based on
current (system date) rather than policy effective date as per DEF
34531.Also tested for Negative scenarios.
d) Fixed the defect for Additional Named Insured - Relationship field
should be a freeform text for BA
e) Fixed the defect for during Application, the address for AI is
required, but no asterisk next to field in New Additional Insured.

improved AME Routing)

Project Description: Integration Manager is an application which is often
installed at the client location and is used to match the customer records
with the DNB records. The Integration Manager Database primarily consists
of the "Common Customer Directory of Businesses", provided by D&B. This
data can be maintained using Oracle (9i/10g) or SQL Server (2000/2005)
databases. This project will aim to improve the batch matching capabilities
of HMS by providing Microsoft with a tracking mechanism, a retry mechanism,
a feature which will return multiple unique candidates, a better method to
handle mixed character set input data, and matches without providing
country information and will also improve the transactional match
capability by providing options to return multiple unique candidates and by
providing synchronous family tree transactional online and web service
output.
Role and Responsibilities
. Responsible for developing Global Search Online code. Both for
Transactional and Web services.
. Developed a code to work on CR changes for Match grade and Scoring
Technique.
. Responsible for the UI changes using JSP and XSL.

involves in cleansing & standardizing the batch files Submitted using Data
services. Batch Cleanse & Standardization Service will be exposed as web
Services to the access systems to submit their batch files in the
appropriate queue. These files will be processed using the Data services &
the cleansed output will be FTPed to the output mount and the
acknowledgement will be sent to the corresponding access systems on the
completion of the Processing. This project also involves in developing a
Batch job monitor which will be exposed to the access Systems to monitor
the job status of the files submitted.

. Responsible for developing a module names as File Splitting and CR
changes like High-Way Rule, No-Space Rule, County-Road and Interstate
