Construction of the $50M Natural Engineer Wastewater Treatment (NEWT)
Project. My responsibilities as a Project manager include interfacing with
the client/representative while conducting scheduling/planning, cost
management, design modifications, compliance to HSE and QA/QC standards,
monitoring construction progress and preparing daily, weekly and monthly
reports.
I also assist in preparing project execution plans (PEP), procuring and
expediting material, identifying required equipment and utilizing labor
according to the schedule, planning daily activities with the construction
manager, preparing monthly invoices, facilitating communication between key
people involved and assist in managing man camp. To meet the demands of a
super fast tracked project, I work on design, support estimating and set
project controls in managing cost.

Five Star Hotel (February 2009 - January 2012)
Construction project of a $40M five-star hotel. I was responsible for
developing plans for HSE and QA/QC department. I developed specifications
and compliance with the contractors and provided progress reports to
client. I conducted risk assessments and job safety analysis (JSA) prior to
starting a task. British quality standards were applied. Trained personnel
for the HSE inspector position and setup a monthly safety award program for
employees.
Completed the construction of 3 residential buildings totaling over $120M.
I was responsible for managing tasks for the general contractor, resolved
design issues and finished the incomplete design.

Construction Projects (April 2006 - November 2008)
Completed the construction of 7 buildings inside and outside the refinery
exceeding $200M. Ensured adherence to strict specifications by the client
on the areas of Engineering, Quality, Performance Guidelines and Safety.
Worked with the client and the contractor to complete the construction
schedule. Modified and checked the design drawings to be used in the
construction site. Provided schedule input, facilitated information flow,
developed project requirements, analyzed client's need to define and
establish design parameters, and assisted estimating department. Finalized
the Project Quality Manual, monitored permitting progress, led the
engineering team in resolving field problems and managed changes required
by the client.

Rendered extensive support to the Delivery and Test Units Department on

them monitor and control production costs. As a Six Sigma project,
augmented and improved the overall operations of Pipefitting and Pipe
details (PD) and design and construction throughout the company with annual
savings of $200K.
Coordinated various lesson learned projects with the customers; devised
action plans to alleviate and resolve the issues resulting in $2M
compensation benefit to the company. Completed numerous CoPQ (Cost of Poor
Quality) projects throughout the company. Steered the process of

Carried out extensive evaluation of the existing equipment layout design;
made several recommendations in order to enhance efficiency. Undertook
quality audits utilizing QS 9000 standard procedures. Updated plant
drawings and engineering changes by using AutoCAD.
Enhanced efficiency and productivity by automating parts and locating
computer in the manufacturing floor for easy access and retrieval; this
resulted in saving approximately $100K annually. Recommended to replace
molding compounds with faster chemical compounds in order to increase
