I am seeking an opportunity in utilizing my management and leadership

Employment History:

. Facility Auditor

Oct 2007 - June 2012 - GoodLife Fitness

My role as a facility auditor encompassed facility maintenance,

management compliance, Health & Safety concerns and reports, process and

policy implementations and corrective actions of each related field, I

succeeded leading the team of 8 auditors for almost 400 fitness clubs in

a national Health & Safety program. My achievements included ensuring

company compliance of all policies and procedures to management groups,

cleaning companies and onsite staff at each club in my changing assigned

areas. I was accountable to eastern Canada, Quebec, northern Ontario,

Belleville, and Kingston markets. Also included were both the Brockville

& Ottawa regions, totaling in excess of 50 individual fitness clubs held

accountable for while I implemented company Health & Safety policies in

both the Quebec and east coast divisions. During my time at GoodLife

Fitness I recorded roof to foundation facility information related to

square footages, inventory of equipment, onsite supplies, and materials

within each of the clubs.

. Factory Supervisor - Midnights

April 2005 - December2006 - Adecco Staffing Services - Alcatel

I managed all factory operations for Alcatel on the midnight shift.

Staffed with 9 fulltime and 5 contract staff members, resized from 2

fulltime and 19 contract employees upon my acceptance of the role in April

2005. The restructuring in staffing transpired into cost savings to the

company. I maintained a focus on increasing goals and objectives done

through coaching, mentoring and planning. The operations side consisted of

manufacturing, repair, test, and quality control for the Swansea facility.

Other areas of accountability included receiving, materials management,

incoming quality inspections, rework, repair and a group of debug

technicians. My role involved all areas of the business related to

training, mentoring, coaching, and team building. Daily duties include

setting and reporting of priorities, team meetings, and coordination of

incoming materials to manufacturing, scheduling test times based on

capacity, while cross training to a primary and backup staffing concept

model. I achieved record numbers for both inspection and test quantities

for the repair sector, as well as taking the initiative to change the

reporting methods for management and executives. Among the highest peeks of

my time with Alcatel was contributing to the repair divisions increase from

65% delivery performance to the high 90% on commitment dates to a rolling

14 week window, another was being able to award 7 employees fulltime status

during my tenure.

. Restaurant General Manager

2004 - 2005 Priszm Foods - KFC - (Kanata, and Arnpior)

My duties in the role of manager at this high volume KFC include opening

and closing of the restaurant, cash handling and banking operations, loss

prevention, staff scheduling, cleaning and maintenance scheduling, health

and safety concerns, team management, and the day-to-day operation of the

facility. I perform inventory control, forecasting, ordering, sales

tracking, and quality control of all incoming products. This fast paced

facility annual ranks in the plus million dollar net sales category. I

excel at building and maintaining a teamwork environment. Motivation of

staff is the corner stone to success. Training and operational standards

are among my highest priorities.

. Operations Supervisor

2003 - 2004 Neilson Dairy Ltd.

My role at Neilson Dairy oversaw the entire facility from maintenance,

operations, quality control, and shipping/receiving. My daily duties

included managing daily core milk production to the forecast, staff

delegation to job function by priority, quality assurance of all finished

goods products and incoming supplies, updating and monitoring shipping

schedules to customers, and hands on management of an A-septic bottling

line. Limited storage capacity within the warehouse focused on FIFO. The

union environment had me training the most senior staff to job function

during a change over to an E.R.P. system. Managing staff in excess of 10

production in both bottle line and core plants, a shipping staff of 25

members, and maintenance of all building operation including, assembly

lines, warehouse operations, health and safety concerns, and transportation

maintenance. Focused on HACCP and GMP throughout all areas of the plant.

Produced documentation and trained staff to industry standards. I had been

recognized by the company and sent to Phoenix AZ., participating in a R.O.I

of a new warehouse layout and process upgrade. This included a pick-face

concept to shipping; cost savings with staff reduction and a new warehouse

layout. My over all focus was on material management, inventory accuracy,

and sanitation of the facility. This role gave me the opportunity to

utilize my change management skills and apply fundamentals obtained through

the high tech sector.

. Team Leader / Production Coordinator / Quality Assurance Inspector

2000 - 2002 Nortel Networks - (Dicing and Device Integrity)

Production Coordinator for both days and weekend shifts in a clean room

environment for the Dicing and Device Integrity Wafer FAB. The lab was part

of the Microelectronics Optical division in the business of testing,

dicing, & the quality assurance of Hetero-Junction Bipolar Transistors,

Silicon, and MESFET products from the Wafer Fabrication lab. I worked as

liaison between senior management, staff, Engineering, and Planning; I

scheduled overtime and held communication sessions. I was a certified

visual auditor, member of the new product team, APAR management groups, and

inventory teams. Initiator and leader on the reduction of inventory in

excess of $10 million held in the lab. Trained on the PROMIS and VMS

systems, WHIMIS, ESD.

. Manufacturing Coordinator III

1993-1999 Digital Equipment of Canada

Founding member of the Kitting process on Digital's PC line. I managed a

fluctuating staff of 25, including staff scheduling, addressing personnel

issues, staff training, and staff placement to appropriate job function,

heading daily communication sessions with staff, and chairing Process

Management teams. Supervised the Kitting stockroom, staff, and issuing of

all raw materials to the computer assembly area. I was the quality focal on

all raw materials within the Kitting stock room. Involved as team leader

and liaison between senior management staff, Engineering, Inventory

Control, and other cross-functional groups. I also Prepared and delivered

presentations to staff and senior management. Performed defect rate trend

graphing and root cause analysis within the Kitting stock room on defects

generated. I also coordinated Process Management Team recommendations for

corrective action, (Using Excel). Managed performance & accuracy in weekly

cycle counts as well as quarterly and yearly physical inventories. Staffed

in upwards of 50 to 100 employees for the Physical Inventory Count. Took

part on reviewing and reporting results on inventory counts, as well as

initiated corrective action with staff and P.M.T. on issues found. Chaired

meetings as team leader for Process Management team. "Train the Trainer"

certified (O.J.T.) & classroom presentations. Provided training to staff in

area of responsibility & job function. Delivered yearly evaluations of

staff. As a Manufacturing Coordinator with Digital, I was able to reduce

the amount of stock held in the area; this brought down the dollar amount

held in the stockroom from $4 million to $1.2 million. I was a member of

many task teams at Digital, which had me figuring timed shipments of parts

to reduce stock (just in time deliveries), as well as reporting on

operations progress to staff & management.
