Steering complete consultancy services to clients in planning and scheduling their operations and maintenance activities for smooth functioning.

Spearheading activities right from conceptualisation to execution; involving finalisation of technical specifications, procurement, scheduling, progress monitoring, vendor development, site management, manpower planning, etc.

Responsible for entire power plant project operations including installation, commissioning and maintenance of 45.33 MW (4) Mirrlees Blackstone Diesel Generating Sets, 5500 CM / day capacity Desalination Plant, Boilers, Industrial Water Supply Plant, Cooling Towers & other related machineries.

Feb’ 00 – Nov’ 00: Saurashtra Cement Limited, Porbandar, Gujarat as General Manager

Oversaw operations for execution of 24.00 MW (SCL) & 20.00 MW (GSCL) Diesel Power Plant Expansion Project work and its existing 12.00 MW diesel power plant & its related auxiliary machineries maintenance.

Aug’ 93 – Jan’ 00: Ferro Alloys Corporation Limited, Bhadrak, Orissa as Assistant General Manager

Role:

Executed complete operation & maintenance activities of 20.00 MW (2) MAN B & W Diesel Power Plant 10.00 MW each and its related auxiliary machineries.

Managed functioning of machines like HFO & LDO Purification Plant, Boilers, Pumps, Air Compressors, Cooling Towers, Industrial Water Supply Plant, Oil Storage Facilities, etc.

Attainments:

Significantly improved the plant efficiency and availability from 50% to 100% & saved directly over US $ 3,600000.00 by effective failure analysis of the D. G. Sets.

Competently negotiated with Diesel Engine manufacturers for replacement of the components free of cost and unwanted engine down time compensation.

Role:

Organised and managed operation and maintenance of 86.7 MW Diesel Power Plant across 4 locations of Tembagapura, Irianjaya and Indonesia. The plants are equipped with 13 Caterpillar DG sets 3600 series, 4 MW each, 3 Wartsila 12V32, 3 MW each, 10 EMD DG sets 16-645-E4, E4B and E4C, 2.2 MW each, 2 Hayward Pelton Tyler hydro Turbines, 3 MW each and its related machineries, such as Cooling towers, pumps, industrial water supply plants, oil storage facilities and others plants machineries.

Coordinates with energy distribution team for Gold & Copper mining processing plants / Town ship / Hospital and others areas load management.

Generated daily and monthly operation and maintenance reports, consumables utilisation. Continuously imparted employees training to improve productivity, efficiency and achieve reduced cost of operation and maintenance on regular basis.

Supervised day today operation & maintenance activities of 78.85 MW Diesel Power Plant of CNMI’s (3) Island, located at Saipan (Main), Tinian and Rota.

Administered operation & maintenance of 78.85 MW Diesel Power Plant. Including:

Oversaw functioning of (4) Mitsubishi Diesel Engines (LFO), 7.2 MW each, (2) Mitsubishi Diesel Engines (HFO), 13 MW each, (6) EMD Diesel Engines, 2.5 MW each, (3) Yanmer Diesel Engines, Tinian Island, 1.350 MW each and (2) Mitsui Diesel Engines, Rota Island, 2.5 MW each, (6) Boilers, Water and Oil Treatment Plant, Compressors, Pumps and other auxiliary machineries.

Coordinated with warehousing / distribution team for spare parts demand / utilisation and ensuring proper Distribution System Management.
