I currently manage a project portfolio encompassing all of Brookfield Asset
Management's enterprise-wide collaboration technologies (SharePoint,
Exchange, Microsoft Office, Lync, Polycom A/V conferencing, Mobility/MDM,
Unified Communications, etc.). I am accountable for overall delivery of the
projects within the project portfolio with an annual portfolio budget of
$8M+. In a prior role, I managed a program consisting of high-profile IT
infrastructure projects that improve the way that enterprise applications
are delivered to Brookfield's asset management and property organizations.
The projects that I directly managed had budgets that typically ranged
between $750K and $2M.
Major Achievements
. Successfully implemented a project portfolio management approach;
selecting and prioritizing the appropriate projects to achieve
articulated business objectives; balancing risk versus opportunity and
providing overall governance at a portfolio level
. Upgraded Brookfield's messaging and productivity platforms through an
enterprise deployment of Office 2010 and the migration of email accounts
to Exchange 2010 for approximately 5,000 users

I managed several key projects for government agencies, financial

Project Manager - HR Operations (September, 2004 - November, 2008)
Led teams of application developers and business analysts focused on
introducing and supporting transactional systems as well as business
intelligence reporting. Engaged key customers to determine value-added
opportunities, negotiated scope of work and prioritized against other
commitments. Directly managed key initiatives and successfully matched
team members' skill sets with project complexities and timelines.
Major Achievements
. Designed and implemented a centralized project approval process for
Pfizer's HR Operations organization that allowed the human resource
operations leadership team to: make informed decisions based upon the
cost/benefit of project proposals, ensure strategic alignment, allocate
proper funding, and manage resources more effectively
. Implemented a financial reporting system for expensing stock options and
restricted stock units globally. This allowed Pfizer to comply with
FAS123R and FAS109 mandates. Worker productivity increased within the
stock options administration group by roughly 75% through automation of
manual processes
. Outsourced all ETL, modeling and report development activities to an
offshore partner, permitting HR Delivery Services team to realize a 20%
savings in the annual operating budget
. Acted as a key player in several six sigma projects resulting in: a 30%
reduction in manual handling required for the semimonthly on-cycle
payroll process and a 20% decrease in the turnaround time for benefits
issues escalated to the HR Call Center

. Directed technical effort to convert U.S. and Puerto Rico colleagues'
paychecks from a bi-weekly to weekly payroll for hourly manufacturing
staff, and a semimonthly schedule for salaried office employees
. Authored, developed, tested, and implemented an accounting interface from
the PeopleSoft payroll system to Pharmacia's SAP financials system;
created additional reporting and allowed North American Shared Services
to realize a "real time" close

post merger. Evaluated and retired redundant systems, modified remaining
