Compass is a project which deals with the authorization for a Pin less
transaction. Compass at First Data acts as a bridge between the customer,
who swipes the card at the point of sale and the merchants. Compass also
takes care of refunds, transaction decline, transaction reject during
authorizations. It deals with multiple associations (cards) and upon
various transaction status like rejection, successful etc sends a response
code which notifies the transaction status.

CPA Global corporate web site is built on Drupal which is a content
management system (CMS) tool. Drupal is very much flexible & user friendly
i.e. easy to learn and use. Web-pages can be created very fast and

1) Context Delivery Architecture (CoDA) : It is an architecture that is
aware on the end user's context such as location, preferences,
identity, etc. and delivers the information that is most suited for
it. CoDA aims to enhance user's experience through the knowledge of
his/her context and tailor the application behavior to it. Gartner is
labeling CoDA as an emerging trend. In CPA global project we are
implementing the same with 'Segment Targeting'. Advertisement would
be displayed depending upon user's country, company, revenue & profit
margin of the company and 'hasCookie i.e. location, identity and past
behavior of the user in the website. User will get tailor made
advertisements which are most relevant to the person.
2) Superstitial Advertisement: This is a hot-cake in internet and web-
sites nowadays. Sometimes we find advertisement is floating on the
screen at the starting for few seconds after the page is loaded. You
might have seen the same in various media related web sites like NDTV
or Times of India. CPA global project includes this feature.

Wright Express is a leading provider of payment processing and information
management services to the U.S. commercial vehicle fleet industry. They
provide fleets using its services with detailed transaction data, analysis
tools and purchase control capabilities by capturing transaction data at
more than 180,000 fuel and vehicle maintenance locations, including over
90% of the nation's retail fuel locations and 41,000 vehicle maintenance
locations. The previous platform of WEX is known as Classic where it uses a
Tandem authorizer. WEX is now migrating its clients like Exxon Mobile,
Tesoro, Pacific Pride, etc to its new platform, which uses a Java
Authorizer. The scope of this project would be to test the different
components of WEX like Online Application, Siebel, Authorization, Backend
and Reporting, which are affected by this migration.

SCBU [Sub-custodian Billing system] is the billing system for the State
Street. State Street provides custodial services to various funds (Pension
funds, Public Funds, Mutual Funds) that invest in markets across the globe.
If a Fund has invested in a non-US market, a sub-custodian will be
appointed to provide custodial services to the fund in that market. These
sub-custodians raise invoices on State Street for the services provided by
them. These charges are to be forwarded to the respective Funds by State
Street. The Sub-custodian Billing System is used to consolidate all Sub-

The Customer Acquisition Due Diligence (CADD) is a key system
documenting the due diligence performed at Citigroup when accepting (or
during the life of) a new business relationship with a customer. This
facilitates compliance with Citigroup's Customer Identification Program
("CIP") and other due diligence requirements viz gathering basic customer
information, assessing potential money laundering risks and verifying the
information before establishing a relationship with a client. Business
users in US will use the automated CADD system for creating and

C/CORBA code to J2EE Platform along with the additional functionalities.
The application is meant to be deployed on multiple platforms
(Windows/Solaris/Linux/Mac) running on multiple app servers
(Weblogic/Jboss/Websphere) connecting to multiple database servers
