Working as a maintenance/production engineer in INDCARB from may 2011 to till date

Project Title: Maintenance & Production in Heat treatment plant.

Description:

The motive behind this expansion project is, the plant is able to check the strength of a material and

delivering the end results to clients with their mentioned requirements with quality analysis. The processes

involved here in this plant are carborising, hardening, carbonitriding, tempering and annealing. The PLCs

used in the plant is GEFANUC. Basically the plant work for BOSCH and many other concerns. We are

validating the maximum strength of the material in the process of heat treatment.

Responsibility:

Operation& Maintenance of DG (1MVA, 750KVA, 250KVA, 125KVA).

Maintenance of air compressor (50hp motor, 20hp motor).

Maintenance of heat treatment panels.

Maintenance of variable frequency drives for motors.

Calibration of temperature controllers, carbon cum controller(PID controller), maintenance

of k & j type thermocouples,oxy probe

Operation and maintenance of power distribution systems.

Prepared 5’s’ schedule and ensure 5’s’ implementation.

Operation and maintenance of high temperature furnaces.

Operation and maintenance of cooling and sewage systems.

Implementing kaizens for plant improvement and total productive maintenance.

Monitoring energy consumption through daily records.

Maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC.

Maintaining the plant in continuous running AC motors & DC motors.

Maintaining the electrical and electronics instruments.

Preparing plant maintenance schedule for utilities.

Maintaining regular and critical spares.

Implementing maintenance activities as per daily, weekly, monthly plan.
