Responsibilities

As a Graduate Engineer / Management Trainee

• Coordination with the Spread Incharge.

• Execution of activities like Trenching,Stringing,Station Piping execution & Commissioning inline

with Approved P&ID, GAD’s, Instrument Cable Laying, Installation of Impulse Piping & tubing .

• Field Instruments ( like PT, PG, TT, PSV etc) installation, testing & Commissioning.

• Supervision of Instrumentation Panels & Junction Box installation.

• Monitoring instruments Calibration along with Loop testing.

• TCP/PCP System Installation which includes ( Sacrificial Anode Installation, Pin Brazing etc. )

• Project Documentation includes preparation of Job Procedures, Inspection Test Plans, Inspection

reports, Loop Test reports & Commissioning reports.

• Coordinating with client (GSPL), TPI (CEIL/MECON India), PMC(VECPL/MECON India Ltd)

and with HO

As a Engineer (Projects)

• Analyzing the P&ID and listing out the MOC (Material of Construction) required at the

site and coordinating the same with the Procurement & Materials department.

• Preparing the DCI (Document Control Index) with reference to the SOW.

• Reviewing TCP/ PCP design docs with ref. to NACE Standards & tender specs like

( Anode Weight Calculation, Current O/p requirement, requirement of Polarization cells,

referring soil resistivity data)

• Reviewing Instrumentation docs/drawings related to field instruments (PT, TT & RTD)

and also major instruments like Pressure Safety Valves (PSV) Sizing Calculations with

ref. to API 520 code.

• Checking Protection of all instruments with ref. to INGRESS PROTECTION Codes (eg.

IP 65 IP 63 IP 54 / NEMA protection etc).

• Reviewing Fire Alarm, Gas Detection System related docs/drawings and locating

minimum no. of Gas Detectors (Open Path / fixed Point) required for the project.

• Maintaining the project in SAP and updating with the Purchase requisitions of the items to

be procured and coordinating the same with Procurement department.

• Ensuring that project is planned, engineered with in time, cost & performance

specifications agreed with the client.

• Coordinating with multi discipline people for completing project in an effective manner.

• Resolve grey areas in basic design parameters & design standards with the client.

• Anticipate and resolve any problems, bottlenecks/ scheduling conflicts.

• Following up day to day to get approvals from PMC/CLIENT and also the ones at Site.

• Preparation of Procurement Status, Job Procedures Status and daily updating the DCI as

per the approvals of QAP, Drawings & Design Calculations received form PMC/CLIENT.
