Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, directing and

sustainable development initiatives across thirteen
manufacturing plants ($1.6B revenue, 4300 employees).
Responsible for selecting, training and developing plant energy
managers and energy teams in each plant. Coordinate energy &
sustainability audits/reduction initiatives with DOE, Energy
Star and other outside agencies to meet corporation's long term
strategic goals. Evaluate and install economically feasible
renewable energy projects.
o Reduced energy usage by 8% over last 4 years, resulting in
cumulative savings of $22M.
o Planning, scheduling & budgeting of energy efficient
compressed air systems across all thirteen plants.

Responsibilities included planning, directing and coordinating
work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing
functions to meet safety, productivity, cost, quality and
shipping in a large glass manufacturing plant (6 direct and 250
indirect reports) with $120M annual revenue. Improved process
through implementation of lean, kaizen, 5S and six sigma
methodologies. Developed production, labor & capital budget and
performed administrative responsibilities including selection
and development of employees. Performed all administrative
functions in the plant during plant general manager's absence.
o Reduced product change timing by 32% through usage of Lean
and Kaizen methodologies.
