upgrades, ground support equipment and tooling. Received 3 recognition awards during my brief tenure. The most
notable was for developing a program direct tooling cost tracking system.

Developed manufacturing component & assembly cost for a variety of aircraft. Estimates broke out specific component
or assembly cost details such as; materials, manufacturing operations (set-up, production rates, tooling), processing cost
(heat treat, alodine coating, paint), & hardware. The first major cost project that I was responsible for in developing and
awarded was for Boeing, KC135 spoilers. The power point presentation that I developed for this was project was use as a
base line for similar assembly project estimates by upper management. Estimates over $100,000 were subject to higher
management review. Depending on work load and importance, review meeting were schedule with the Manufacturing
Engineering Manager and the Manufacturing VP on a daily basis. Quote requests were tracked to ensure timely response
to customers which included: Bell, Boeing, Lockheed, Northrup, Sikorsky, & Vought. .

Contracted to Honeywell to support an effort to reduce Abrams AGT1500 engine repair cost by 6%. This was to be
accomplished by performing a repair or limit change feasibility study by reviewing component scrap data for areas of
concentrated defects. Also, involved in re-certifiying 30 thremal spray repairs. Honeywell ha d plans to build a new facily
to perform all thermal spray repairs for GE.

Contracted to Kaman Aerostructures with responsibilities in developing manufacturing process plans, first article
inspection data sheets, and resolving manufacturing producibility issues (correcting tools, drawings, and plans).

Lead Repair Engineer

Managed and supported various Engineering Projects for Aerospace companies on a contract basis. A breakdown of
these projects and longevity are as follows:
1) Set-up and inputted data tracking system (Excel Spread Sheet) that enabled a 3 man team to review and process
(incorporate into repair manuals), if necessary, a backlog (3+ yrs) of Process Change Request's (PCR) for the General
Electric Engine Services (GEES) Repair Group in Cincinnati, Ohio (6 months).
2) Implemented an audit that reviewed and documented the actual repairs, processes and controls used on all critical
rotating parts for the JT8D engines for the GEES repair facility in Dallas, Texas (6 months).
3) Developed (researched and documented) blade and vane repairs across engine lines for the GEES Repair Group in
Cincinnati, Ohio (6 months)
4) Involved in establishing and implementing source approval repairs on 1st and 2nd Stage HPT Blades on JT8D, JT9D,
PW2000 and PW4000 engines lines for a Pratt & Whitney (P & W) repair facility in Dallas, Texas (6 months).
5) Developed process sheets/routers on JT9D HPC Air Seals for a P & W repair facility in Singapore, China (3 months).
Process Engineer

Developed manufacturing process plansfor aircraft engine ground support equipment for General Electric, Pratt &
Whitney, and Stuart Stevenson. Responsibilities also included purchasing (materials, hardware and tooling) and outsource
contracts (heat treating, coating and other services).

Developed manufacturing cost estimates utilizing Windows 94 Excel (formatted spreadsheet for quoting application).
Within this first and second tier automotive parts (stampings, roll forms and assemblies) supplier's organization, it was my
responsibility to provide the initial manufacturing process, production rate standards and tooling cost to determine the part
piece price on high volume jobs for Ford, GM, Nissan, Toyota, ... ect. This resonsibility extended over four manufacturing
plants.

customers' system specification. Responsibilities also included providing cost estimetes, detailed drawings and the
